Judy Syring Elk Bulging for a Mate

Judy Syring is taking us along on her trip to Estes Park in Colorado. Her trip took place in Autumn where it is elk mating season. Bulls will “bugle” to attract a mate. This bugle starts with a deep sound that resonates into a high pitched squeal and grunting. The bulls will approach the female cows and try to herd them into harems. It is somewhat amusing to watch how some cows avoid or decline their approach. ELK BULGING FOR A MATE is captured before the male and female meet.
