Frame Choices

WildlifePrints.com offers so much more than just on-line print sales. Custom framing is a very important part of our business too. Whether you want to ship us your unframed print, or you want us to custom frame something you purchased from us, or if you are in the neighborhood and want to stop by one of our two retail stores to look for yourself (see our contact page), we are sure you will like our quality and especially like our prices. We benefit from the lower costs of quantity discounts, and we pass those savings right back to our customers.

We offer a variety of moulding choices and a nice selection of acid free mats. Your custom-framed print will come fully assembled with backing and a wire hanger, ready to immediately place on your wall. Our standard custom framing includes your choice of any moulding, two mats, and a name drop or name plate--all for one low price. We try to keep things simple by eliminating "up-charges" for almost every framing order we take. One exception is for an upgrade from standard glass to non-glare or conservation glass. Another exception is for framing of an exceptionally large piece.

We also offer a new popular process called acrylic texturing. When we use this process, the print is hand-rolled with a non-reflective 100-percent acrylic polymer coating, which protects the image, giving it the look and feel of an original canvas. In addition to the rich canvas appearance, this coating provides the benefits of lighter weight so the print is easier to hang, there is less chance of fading over time, and you will have minimal care. Just use a feather duster once in a while to keep your print clean. This process is quickly becoming very popular for all of these reasons. If you have a piece to frame that is extraordinarily large, we will often recommend the acrylic texturing. One of the biggest advantages is that almost no breakage occurs during shipping.
