Derk Hansen Hunters Moon

An Indian village of teepees sits alongside a fast moving mountain stream in Derk Hansen's print Hunter's Moon. Tipi's (also teepees) were preferred by the Plains Tribes due to their flexibility and portability.  They were easy to take down and reassemble as the Indians migrated along with the bison herds.
