Gamini Ratnavira Blue & Gold Macaws

The BLUE AND GOLD MACAW (also called Blue and Yellow Macaw) is found in swampy areas of tropical South America.  Gamini Ratnavira has captured their vibrant beauty in this print.  These macaws are the most commonly kept in the U.S., and breed well in captivity.  These large birds average 35 inches long from beak to tail feathers, and can live to be 40 years old.  So they require a long-term commitment from their owners.
