Bruce Greene Little Lanterns of God

In the Wild West worshiping doesn't require a church. In this Bruce Green painting a cowboy looks to the skies where he observes the light of the LITTLE LANTERNS OF GOD.

"Little Lanterns of God by Bruce Greene ~ Red Steagall and Luke Reed wrote a song several years ago called ‘Cowboy Church.’ There is a line in that song which says ‘the sky is my cathedral and my altar is the ground.’ That line inspired this painting and a couple of others. I hope to show here that this old cowboy can worship indoors or out under God’s Creation." -- Bruce Greene
