Al Agnew Birds of A Feather

In Birds of a Feather, Al Agnew has painted a perfect winter scene where the scarlet cardinals and red berry bush make a great contrast against the white snow. Cardinals do not migrate, and they do not molt into a dull winter color, so their brilliant feathers can be breathtaking against a snowy background.  Female cardinals are one of the very few female songbirds that actually sing, often while sitting on a nest which is probably a signal to the male cardinal.

We have many other cardinal and songbird prints on our website.
