Derk Hansen Morning Reflections (loon family)

In the Derk Hansen print MORNING REFLECTIONS a loon family is on an early morning chicks hitching a ride on the adults.  Loons are monogamous, and a pair bonds typically for about 5 years, producing 2 chicks per year. Since a bonfire is burning in a pit near shore there must be campers nearby who will enjoy the unique sounds of this beautiful water bird.
