Edward Aldrich Nectar Delight

The bird in Edward Aldrich print NECTAR DELIGHT has found a pleasing flower.  Hummingbirds will visit an average 1000 flowers per day to get their daily requirement of nectar.  They lap up nectar with their tongues, not through their beaks like a straw. They consume nectar at the rate of 13 licks per second.

Pairs well with BUSY AND BRIGHT, also by Aldrich.
