David Maass Tomahawk Trail- Pheasants

In the David Maass print TOMAHAWK TRAIL-PHEASANTS a couple of ringnecks are flushed out of their hiding place in the tall grasses along a rural road.

“While on a recent reference trip a short distance west of Minneapolis, I turned onto a narrow gravel road, identified by a sign as Tomahawk Trail. Driving a mile or so, I viewed what I thought to be a perfect setting for a pheasant painting.”
